Eligible students can also benefit from funding schemes by Government entities so that they can put their education first, in particular a 70% tax credit refund with the ‘Get Qualified Scheme’.

Get Qualified Scheme
This scheme is a government supported initiative to encourage the personal development of individuals for the achievement of qualifications and certifications required by industry. Students who complete their education are eligible to receive 70% of fees back through tax credits, enabling them to recover part of the costs incurred.
Students taking Ministry-approved courses can claim 70% of fees through tax credits on the following costs:
- The cost of fees to the institution or other entity recognised by the Ministry for Education and Employment.
- Fees charged to take an examination required to achieve the approved qualification.

Flexible Payment Scheme
Apex Academy offers an easy and flexible payment plan, so you can focus on your studies without worrying about finances.
This scheme allows students to distribute course fees across the courses’ duration without any interest fees.
Step 1: When registering for a course, please leave us a message in the ‘Additional information’ option. This will notify our administrators.
Step 2: A representative from our company will contact you through email or by phone to explain how payments are planned and to answer any questions you may have.
Step 3: Following confirmation, we will send you a Flexible Payment Agreement.
Training Pays Scheme
The Training Pays Scheme is an employment service project within the European Social Fund (ESF). It aims to assist jobseekers to develop or improve their skills by participating in off-the-job training. The scheme offers a 75% refund to help with training costs, which will normally be paid to the trainee after completion of the training course.
To apply for the Training Pays Scheme:
- Select your preferred course from the Jobsplus catalogue.
- Fill in your application form and send it to tps.jobsplus@gov.mt by the last day of training, along with the training schedule. The last day of training should not be later than June 30th, 2023 and does not include exam days.
- You can request a refund after successfully completing your training course and receiving your certificate by sending a copy of receipt or proof of payment, certificate, financial identification form and the application for reimbursement at trainingpays.jobsplus@gov.mt
