Learning Outcomes for Knowledge obtained at the end of the programme:
The learner will be able to:
- Safely move patients with or without the use of specialist equipment and prevent the risk of injuries.
- Assess environments and areas for risks to the safety of the patient and the health care professional.
There is only one module in this course which seeks to provide the participants with the relevant knowledge, skills and competence to move and handle patients safely and efficiently within the parameters of international standards.
